Cadet Scholarships
The Association organizes and pays for the annual banquet where our members can enjoy a night off and celebrate accomplishments.
Your financial assistance enables us to purchase food, and electrolyte drinks to bring to scene o nourish and replenish our members on exhausting calls and training.
High school students who are cadets in good standing can apply for a scholarship paid by the Association to use for post-secondary studies.
The Essex Firefighters Association is a non-profit organization that raises money to support members of the Essex Fire Department in Essex, Vermont. These funds supplement beyond what is received from municipal taxes.
Examples include providing food during long calls or training; cadet scholarships; official clothing; annual banquet and awards; and other items or services voted on as being needed by our members. Essentially things that benefit our members and shows appreciation, beyond the core cost of running a fire department.
The Association accepts donations from anyone wishing to support our members, and in turn emergency services for Essex and neighboring communities. We greatly appreciate your support!
We will soon be offering more ways to support us through purchase of challenge coins, t-shirts, and more! We plan to attend more community events where you can meet your Firefighters and EMTs of EFD and ask questions.
