The Association organizes and pays for the annual banquet where our members can enjoy a night off and celebrate accomplishments.
With your help, we purchased a washing and drying systems specially designed for removing toxins from firefighter bunker gear and clothing. This helps prevent illness including cancer
High school students who are cadets in good standing can apply for a scholarship paid by the Association to use for post-secondary studies.
The Essex Firefighters Association is a non-profit organization that raises money to support members of the Essex Fire Department in Essex, Vermont. These funds supplement beyond what is received from municipal taxes.
Examples include providing food during long calls or training; cadet scholarships; official clothing; annual banquet and awards; and other items or services voted on as being needed by our members. Essentially things that benefit our members and shows appreciation, beyond the core cost of running a fire department.
The Association accepts donations from anyone wishing to support our members, and in turn emergency services for Essex and neighboring communities. We greatly appreciate your support!
